Overview
  • Temporary position - 12-18 months
  • 1st shift - 6:00am-2:30pm
  • 2nd shift - 2:30pm-11:00pm
Responsibilities
  • Provide daily direction to employees in order to accomplish multiple projects.
  • Manage project timelines including scoping incoming work, creating job instructions, training team members, managing quality and outcome of Customers orders, which includes extensive reconciliation.
  • Lead, mentor, cross train and provide accountable standards and measures to the department employees. This will include coaching through HR workflows and monitoring several production systems for your department.
  • Time keeping of direct reports, as well as, attendance tracking and accountability.
  • Staffing planning for team
  • Research and resolve customer issues, modify work procedures as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Ability to assist in the invoicing process.
  • Review production reporting daily, weekly, monthly and support Operations Manager with data analysis.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a production environment for a team of 15-30 employees in a similar field
  • This position requires strong computer skills with both Windows and Mac.
  • Due to the nature of the program, the Imaging Operations Supervisor will also need to be able to move pallets, boxes, carts, and stand for long periods of time to support the operations or work alongside team members.
  • Strong team training and leadership skills
  • Understanding of the imaging processes, demonstrated leadership skills with strong technical background and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assist in the invoicing process.
  • Strong project management experience in a high volume production environment.
  • This position requires effective communication, internally and externally. There will be interaction with multiple areas of Iron Mountain with greater focus on local market communication. External communication may consist of infrequent Customer visits, written and verbal communication.
