Job summary

A community-focused church is seeking a part-time Youth Outreach Pastor to lead and implement youth outreach initiatives in the local area. The role involves building relationships with unchurched young people, managing a volunteer team, and facilitating engaging youth sessions. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative ministry approach, and a personal walk with Jesus. Flexibility for evening and weekend work is required, along with a background in safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with unchurched young people.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and cope with frequent change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement a strategic approach to youth outreach.
  • Build and coordinate a team of volunteers for youth ministry.
  • Establish contact with young people through detached youth work.
  • Plan and deliver engaging youth faith-based sessions.
