Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Driving experience.
• Experience in operating forklift trucks, scissor, and boom lifts is advantageous.

Job description

Elevate Equipment Excellence as Our Newest Yard Operative! This exciting opportunity will be based at our depot in Watergrasshill, Cork to help maintain the acad. yard, check machines thoroughly and assist both customers and delivery personnel with the loading and unloading of equipment.

What You Will Do

• Carry out full function testing and inspections on a range of hire equipment, to include forklift trucks, lifting equipment and powered access machinery.
• Carry out thorough_nsec cleaning of hire equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area.
• Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and demonstrate operationlan when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Whatdecision You Will Need

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and complete tasks thoroughly.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the operation of forklift trucks and/or scissor and boom lifts would be advantageous.
