  • Handle breakdowns and coordinate repairs during garage hours.
  • Manage stock and parts, keeping KPI sheets updated.
  • Conduct quality checks on inspections and repairs.
  • Maintain workshop standards including cleanliness and PPE compliance.
  • Oversee service paperwork and defect logs with precision.

Location: Bridgwater (TA6 6DF)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern & Hours: 0700-1700 Monday to Friday
Pay: £20.60 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Workshop Co‑ordinator, you’ll be the go‑to person for managing the workshop and leading the team day‑to‑day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running the workshop efficiently – planning workloads, prioritising tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Leading and motivating the team – providing guidance, approving holidays, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Driving Health & Safety compliance – promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring standards are met.
  • Managing trailer inspections and MOT processes – guaranteeing quality and compliance.
  • Handling breakdowns and coordinating repairs during garage hours.
  • Managing stock and parts – ordering, raising PO numbers, and keeping KPI sheets up to date.
  • Conducting quality checks on inspections and repairs.
  • Maintaining workshop standards – cleanliness, equipment calibration, and PPE compliance.
  • Overseeing service paperwork and defect logs with precision.
