Join a growing manufacturer at the forefront of lorry crane technology. Palfinger UK is hiring a Workshop Service Engineer for our Service Workshop in Leicester. If you’re an experienced engineer with a passion for hydraulics, cranes or heavy plant machinery, this is your opportunity to grow your career with the UK’s largest national lorry crane provider. Hours:

42 hours per week.

Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00. Friday 08:00-16:30.

Key Duties Will Include:

  • Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on Palfinger lorry cranes.
  • Thorough LOLER inspections.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • Experience with cranes, or similar hydraulic equipment such as construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGVs, forklifts, powered access, hydraulic hose.
  • A recognised qualification such as an NVQ or City & Guilds in Plant Maintenance (or a closely related discipline).
  • A strong customer focus and commitment to high‑quality work.
  • Flexibility to work on‑site at our Leicester service centre, LE67 1TU (Monday to Friday).
