Key Benefits
  • Competitive salary paying up to £33,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday (Days 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays)
  • Permanent vacancies within an expanding business
  • Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours
The Role – Workshop Fitters
  • Fitting of a variety of products onto a variety of Trucks
  • Hydraulics work
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Carrying out necessary repairs where required
  • Carrying out installation work (fitting of a variety of products onto the backs of Wagons)
  • Wiring
  • Installing cranes onto the back's of Wagons
  • Bolting up
What our client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter
  • Previous fitting or mechanical assembly experience – ESSENTIAL
  • Good engineering knowledge
  • Knowledge of hydraulics
  • Experienced working from engineering drawing – ESSENTIAL
  • Fitting experience working on HGVs is highly advantageous
