Workshop Engineer / Gate Person

We are looking for a Workshop Engineer / Gate Person to assemble, maintain, repair and service all Company products and provide Gate Person cover when required which includes the processing of used trucks through effective stock and fleet control at the Fleet Management Centre, Old Dalby.

Role

The role involves providing the assembly, maintenance, repair and service of a wide range of material handling equipment including forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Building, servicing and maintaining used demo and short‑term rental trucks.
  • Ensuring trucks meet safety standard requirements.
  • Completing and updating work sheets.
  • Stock and fleet control of used trucks.
Your Profile
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering experience working with industrial equipment or vehicles.
  • Material handling experience is beneficial; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to follow company procedures.
