Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic and adaptable professional with a strong interest in exotic, zoo, or wildlife nursing.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in zoo, exotic, or wildlife species.
  • Full driving license required.
  • Experience with ZIMS or similar animal record systems.
  • Further qualifications in wildlife, zoo, or exotic animal medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinary surgeon in examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, instruments, and clinical areas.
  • Administer treatments and assist in diagnostics.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using ZIMS.
  • Provide input into staff training, biosecurity, and welfare initiatives.
