Territory Manager – West Midlands Region - Competitive Salary + Company Car + Private Healthcare + Commission

Territory: West Midlands Region

The Role

We are offering an opportunity for an ambitious Territory Manager with 1-2 years’ experience in the Medtech Industry. This is an opportunity to embark on an exciting and rewarding career in Medical Device sales with Raise Healthcare. Dealing with Breast. General, Colorectal and Plastic surgeons both in NHS & Private, the successful candidate will be determined and hard-working with a desire to be the best.

After full product and sales training, you will be responsible for supporting and advising customers on our range of products. Liaising with Consultant Surgeons and Theatre Managers you will be on territory, maintaining, existing and negotiating new business. You will be required to present our products to medical staff and support their use in the operating theatre during surgery.

The key responsibilities of a Territory Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospecting for new clients, promoting and advising on General, Plastic and Reconstructive product lines
  • Enhance existing business relationships and build strong, long-term relationships with customers
  • Providing direct product support in the operating theatre
  • Providing professional and effective sales coverage
  • Maintaining an efficient customer record system and update as necessary.
  • Generates and pursues leads to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead clinical evaluations
  • Provide formal presentations for customers and potential customers.
  • Educates the health care team on product use, application, and documentation needs.
  • Identify and support the development of Key Opinion Leaders in the territory.
  • Participate and represent Raise Healthcare at marketing and sales events such as trade shows, conferences and meetings; prepare associated reports and presentations.
  • Maintain CRM system to capture all relevant customer information to support sequential selling.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Territory Manager are

  • Being educated to degree level with a scientific focus is mandatory; a previous role in healthcare or healthcare sales is advantageous however not essential.
  • Excellent presentation skills; including the confidence to present to large groups in a face to face and virtual environment
  • Proactively communicates and proactively takes responsibility.
  • Solid experience Microsoft Office, especially Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM Systems.
  • Experience in meeting deadlines, prioritising tasks and multi-tasking to deliver results.
  • Ability to solves challenges and propose solutions.
  • Driving license.
  • Availability to travel within the UK.
  • You must be eligible to live and work in the UK and live in the West Midlands.
