We are seeking candidates with a strong dedication to inclusive teaching and mentoring, who are excited to build a student-centered research program and bring research expertise to our community of scholars. The position begins in August 2026, and an earned doctorate in Biology or a related discipline by the time of appointment is required. Candidates will have opportunities to teach lecture and/or laboratories for different courses in the Biology program, depending on the candidate’s area of expertise. In addition, candidates will develop an undergraduate Biology course that supports WCU General Education Goals. The successful candidate will develop an active, funded, student-centered research program in their area of expertise.
