A leading educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a Non-regular Welding Instructor to train students in various welding programs. The ideal candidate will provide instruction for Apprenticeship Levels 1, 2, and 3, and ensure students acquire the skills necessary for a successful career in the industry. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and experience as a journeyperson. A flexible working schedule is required, with placements determined by education and teaching experience.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Welding program provides students with the necessary training to become professional welders. Students will develop the skill and knowledge to work safely and effectively in today’s demanding industrial environment.
The Faculty of Trades and Technology is currently seeking a Non-regular Type 1 Welding Instructor to provide short-term delivery of Apprenticeship Levels 1, 2, and 3, Welding Foundation and/or Levels B and A which may extend from a single day to several weeks.
More information concerning the working conditions for a faculty member are outlined in Article 12 of the Kwantlen Faculty Association (KFA) Collective Agreement.
Candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.
Placement on the salary scale will be dependent on level of education and relevant teaching experience. Advancement up the pay scale is based on FTE and employment status.
