  • Assess how areas are fed and supplied during works to minimise risk to customers and water quality
  • Request hydraulic models to be run, interpret model outputs, and use findings to inform delivery decisions
  • Prepare, review, and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), ensuring they are site‑specific and fit for purpose
  • Submit Network RAMS and outage requests through relevant systems and portals
  • Undertake regular site visits, identifying issues early and resolving problems collaboratively
  • Use GIS systems to review asset information and support on‑site problem‑solving
  • Liaise with internal teams and the supply chain to ensure work is delivered safely, compliantly, and efficiently
  • Support commissioning and handover of new assets into operational service

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience reading and writing RAMS, including tailored, site‑specific RAMS
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general Office applications
  • Confident using CRM systems, online portals, and digital workflows
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, designs, and documentation
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, delivery‑focused mindset
  • Willingness to work on‑site regularly and engage directly with delivery teams
  • Full clean drivers license
Desirable
  • Experience within the water industry
  • Understanding of water quality risks and controls
  • Engineering or project delivery background
  • Experience interpreting hydraulic models (training and development will be provided)
