Job Description

Role: Supervisor (Warehouse) – Back of House/Operations

Location: Various UK locations (e.g., Shirebrook, Sheffield, Nottingham, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Derby, Worksop, Gotham, and others)

Seniority level: Entry level

Employment type: Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, including 1:1s to discuss performance against expectations and SMART goals when performance is not met.
  • Collaborate with the Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and identify areas for shift improvement.
  • Drive performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that fulfills customer web and store demand on time and in full.
  • Maintain high safety standards on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to safety routines/procedures (e.g., Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Safety Gembas, Risk Assessments, Audits).
  • Review weekly labour plans to ensure adequate cover; communicate issues/feedback with the Section Manager.
  • Provide detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and create plans to bridge gaps.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure strategic activity is on track and supported.
  • Support successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction.
