Job summary

A logistics company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations. The successful candidate will manage loading and unloading of vehicles and ensure compliance and safety standards are met. Applicants should have at least two years of experience in a freight warehouse and possess a full UK driving licence. The position offers a Monday to Friday working schedule from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Job description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety at all times. Duties include (but are not limited to):

Responsibilities
  • Supervising loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Unloading parcels from containers and preparing them for sortation.
  • Loading containers for security screening.
  • X‑raying freight (COS qualified staff only).
  • Check‑weighing freight and updating records/notifications accordingly.
  • Building aircraft containers for dispatch to airlines.
  • Completing and finalising documentation such as MAWBs (Master Air Waybills) and BOLs (Bills of Lading).
Requirements
  • Minimum two years experience in a freight warehouse environment.
  • COS Level preferred (CO Level as a minimum; additional training can be provided).
  • Forklift licence preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
  • PC literacy with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to limited public transport access).

Working hours: Monday‑Friday 10:00‑19:00.
