Warehouse Office Administrator (Doncaster)
Woodland Group are recruiting a Warehouse Office Administrator for our team at the iPort in Doncaster. The Warehouse Office Administrator will report to the Senior Customer Service Coordinator and work closely with Customer Service Team, Warehouse and Site Operational Teams with general administrative duties to ensure timely and accurate reactions to customer’s enquires and order processing.
Monday to Friday 9-5
About the job:
- Maintain and update spreadsheets and records using CRM system and Microsoft Office
- Respond to customer queries, mostly via ticket system and emails, however some telephone and face-to-face communication will be required
- Assist with general office organisation and ensure smooth day to day operations
- Liaising with the warehouse team to investigate queries and advise on order updates
- Assist with booking deliveries or collections, and communicating with the inbound/dispatch team to facilitate loading / unloading vehicles
- Greeting visitors on site
- Preparing shipping labels and organising packages for despatch
- Work with the team to continually improve processes and business performance;
- Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and
- Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
- Achieve agreed individual objectives; and
- Understand and adhere to all Woodland policies and procedures relevant to the role.
About you:
- Prior experience in administration or customer service role ideally within warehousing or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with warehouse management systems and inventory control software
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of maintaining a professional demeanour when interacting with colleagues, and management.
