Support Worker – Bridgend (Waking Nights)
Full Time – 39 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £12.60 – £12.80 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

At Priority Childcare, part of Orbis Education and Care, we provide real support from real people. Set in Bridgend, our specialist residential service offers care and support for individuals with a range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and autism.

Our homes are warm, welcoming, and designed to promote safety, independence, and wellbeing. We’re looking for dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our team and ensure the individuals we support feel secure, respected, and valued throughout the night.

A Night in the Life of a Support Worker:

Providing high-quality care and support during night hours.

Ensuring individuals’ physical, emotional, and wellbeing needs are met.

Supporting positive bedtime and morning routines.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of activities, observations, and any incidents.

Promoting independence and dignity while ensuring a safe, calm environment.

Undertaking light domestic duties to maintain a clean and comfortable setting.

What You’ll Need:

A caring, compassionate, and resilient attitude.

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training is provided.

A valid driving licence is preferred due to the location.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of those we support.
