We are looking to add a committed and caring Support Worker to our team. The ideal applicant will offer crucial assistance to people in a variety of contexts, such as assisted living facilities and housekeeping tasks. In order to ensure clients’ comfort, safety, and well‑being while fostering independence, this position entails helping them with everyday living activities.

Duties
  • Assist clients with personal care, such as clothing, grooming, and bathing.
  • Assist clients with transfers and mobility, including heavy lifting when required.
  • Help prepare meals and make sure clients are getting enough nutrients.
  • Keep an eye on the health status of your clients and administer medication as directed if necessary.
  • Use behaviour management strategies to assist customers who exhibit difficult behaviours.
  • Provide customers with emotional support and company to improve their quality of life.
  • Carry out basic housekeeping tasks to maintain your clients’ surroundings tidy and secure.
  • Record the care given and notify the proper healthcare providers of any changes in the client’s condition.
  • When necessary, transport clients to social events or appointments.
Skills
