Waking Night Support Worker

Support autistic individuals in Seafield and Granton Housing Support Services. Work overnight, providing continuous care, household tasks, communication support, and administrative duties to promote independence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide night‑time support to autistic residents, ensuring safety and well‑being.
  • Support communication, choice‑making and independence development.
  • Assist with household tasks, medication, and basic cleaning.
  • Record observations and complete administrative procedures accurately.
  • Support residents’ schedules and routines during overnight shift.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Genuine passion for supporting autistic people; positive, compassionate attitude.
  • Experience not essential but desirable; relevant support work preferred.
  • Must register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme and have (or be able to obtain) Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration or equivalent.
  • Unable to sponsor UK work visas.
