Teaching Training Outdoors Youth work
Scouts prepares young people with skills for life – we’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience. We bring together young people aged from 4 - 18, and adult volunteers, from across Norfolk and encourage them to join the adventure with us!
We are looking for volunteers to expand our teams so we can offer fun and adventure for more boys & girls aged 4 upto 6 years old from Dereham.
As a volunteer you will work as part of a team of volunteers to support our Squirrels section for young people aged 4 upto 6 years old.
We meet regularly on a week night and the odd activity/adventure at weekends. We are totally flexible so if you cant make every meeting don't worry.
You don't need skills or training to get involved in Scouting. But we do offer some simple and easy to do (on your mobile/laptop) learning, as well as a free DBS check and first aid training provided by us. There is also discount at a major outdoor brand too.
