The 2026 Altra Brighton Half Marathon is just around the corner, and we’d love you to join us on race day as a volunteer. Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or are thinking about joining in for the first time, we invite you to be part of one of the most exciting and rewarding events of the year.

Our race will be taking place at Hove Lawns, and we need the incredible energy of volunteers like you to ensure it’s another massive success. Without your enthusiasm and support, we simply couldn’t pull it off! No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and team work.

Volunteering at the Brighton Half is an unforgettable experience. From the vibrant buzz of race day to seeing thousands of runners achieve their goals, it’s one of the most rewarding days you’ll be part of. As a volunteer, you play a key role in creating the electric atmosphere that makes this race feel like a true community celebration. The smiles, the high-fives, the excitement, it's all thanks to you. You will be given a tasty breakfast bag to keep you fuelled for the big day! Volunteer start times range from 7 AM to 9 AM, with shifts ending by 2:30 PM (some roles finish earlier).
