Volunteers need to support vintage cafe in Offerton, Stockport

This volunteering role supporting our vintage café within our older people's mental health services. If you are friendly, chatty and want to help please apply for this role

Main duties of the job

What the role involves:

• Help create a welcoming, warm and friendly social cafe
• Support patients to engage with the cafe
• Promote the benefits in engaging with social and therapeutic activities
• Help to run activities within the cafe
• Help set up and clear away the café area,
• Help prepare and serve refreshments to patients, carers, visitors and staff
• Encourage conversations between those attending the cafe

DBS Level for this role is: Standard
