A local animal sanctuary in Wroxall is seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist cafe staff in providing a friendly service to visitors. Responsibilities include delivering food, clearing tables, and maintaining hygiene standards. Ideal candidates will be confident, reliable, and able to commit to a regular weekly shift.
To support the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary in caring for unwanted donkeys, ponies, a mule, a horse and not forgetting Mister cat, by helping our cafe staff in welcoming visitors in a positive and friendly way, and by providing a smooth and efficient service. Our cafe is a really important part of the sanctuary and all the profits from the cafe go directly towards the care and welfare of our animals.
You need to be confident, friendly, approachable and reliable.
This can be a busy role, so you need to be someone who likes to be busy and, on the move working at speed and happy to be on your feet for a few hours. Training will be provided to use our commercial dishwasher as needed.
Hours will mainly be 11am to 3pm, busy times may require flexibility.
Training will be provided.
You will be required to commit to a regular weekly shift.
Taking food from the kitchen to the tables in a friendly manner.
