Job summary

A property services company seeks a Voids Operative to ensure properties are clean and compliant with specified standards. You will work with the Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader to carry out minor defect rectifications and keep accommodation fit for purpose. Reporting to: Repairs & Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Kent

Contract type: Permanent

Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm)

Salary: £26,189.00 per annum, plus either a company vehicle or £4,000 vehicle allowance per annum.

Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader as a Voids Operative you will be accountable for ensuring all properties are clean, hygienic and compliant to the specified standards.

Procedures
  • To ensure all accommodation is clean and fit for purpose.
  • Remove rubbish to a suitable place and arrange collection.
  • Carry-out minor defect rectification as directed.
  • To ensure company procedures are adhered to and all cleaning and defect records are completed and up to date.
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable by the Head of Property Services.

  • Work closely with your line manager and team members
  • Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
  • Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

  • Keep up-to-date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls)
  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures

  • Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required
