A leading media company seeks a Vision Engineer to ensure outstanding picture quality and robust operations for live and recorded programmes. You'll operate camera controls, rig equipment, and align broadcast systems while supporting editing workflows. Proposed Salary Range: £40,000–£44,000 per annum depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. London Weighting Allowance of £5,441 added on top of the base salary.

Join the team behind one of the BBC’s flagship live programmes, The One Show. As a Vision Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding picture quality and ensuring robust technical operations across both live and recorded output. You will help maintain flawless performance of the studio’s vision systems, supporting creative teams and upholding the high standards expected of BBC Studios.
You’ll be part of a small, highly skilled technical team at the heart of a fast paced, nationally recognised production. The role offers hands on experience with cutting edge broadcast technology, opportunities to develop across both SDI and IP workflows, and the chance to contribute directly to one of the BBC’s most watched daily programmes.
