Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of a Middle Office FX Overlay Operations team.
  • Own medium to large sized client relationships, engaging with clients daily.
  • Provide technical assistance on complex matters.
  • Ensure work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
  • Drive efficiencies in the daily environment – deploy AI, digital tools and automation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and operational efficiency, reducing manual touchpoints.
  • Ensure procedures are properly documented.
  • Direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their contribution and growth.
  • Publish and report client KPIs, showcasing results in periodic service reviews.
  • Serve as escalation point of contact for various client relationships.
  • Participate in development priority planning sessions and initiatives.
  • Partner with the Change team to assist in the design and deployment of change initiatives.
  • Ensure error reports are in compliance with service level agreements; manage escalation and correction of errors.
  • Oversee review of exceptions, ensuring internal, external, and regulatory procedures are followed.
  • Resolve complex, escalated issues.
  • Instruct, assign, direct and review the work of team members.
  • Assist in preparation of performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; mutual fund industry background preferred.
  • 5‑7 years of technical and/or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in FX Overlay, Fund Accounting or the mutual fund industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in implementing change.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and foundational knowledge of AI mandatory.
