As our new Vibration Engineer, you will be part of our specialist vibration engineering team within the Buildings Team. The team undertakes varied work, ranging from the design of ultra‑sensitive scientific facilities to ground‑borne noise and vibration in buildings affected by railways. We adopt specialist analytical and numerical modelling techniques together with a sound practical approach through field measurements. We have developed, and continue to develop, bespoke in‑house software applications for optimising vibration designs.
We have a significant pipeline of secured projects in an ever‑diversifying field of vibration facilities and projects and are looking for an enthusiastic new member of the team to assist with their delivery in both UK and international territories. The role spans across the fields of many disciplines and, as such, we are open to candidates from an acoustics, structural engineering or mechanical engineering background with an interest in developing a specialism in this area. We are proud that we are central to the design of countless landmark developments such as The University of Cambridge new Department of Physics building (Ray Dolby Centre) and The University of Oxford Life and Mind Building (LaMB).

Flexible – the final location will be agreed based on your grade/seniority, team location, client and project needs, and your preferred hybrid working pattern. Some roles may require regular time in a specific hub and occasional travel to client or site locations.
