A modern first-opinion small animal practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Veterinary Surgeon to enrich their multicultural team across two thriving branches in the West Midlands.
Imagine working in a practice that boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to investing in new technologies, ensuring that the care provided is of the highest standard. With a variety of patients including dogs, cats, and small furries, the role promises a rich and varied caseload. One branch, with its 2-vet, 3-nurse team, focuses on a range of procedures including dentistry and ultrasonography. The other branch operates as a 24-hour hospital, dealing with complex cases and a significant amount of emergency and critical care (ECC), led by a head vet with extensive experience in bull breeds and a passion for their welfare.
This permanent position as a Night Veterinary Surgeon at the 24/7 hospital branch offers a unique 7 on / 7 off rota, allowing you to enjoy a balanced lifestyle. You will be responsible for sole-charge out-of-hours work, supported by a night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). The role comes with a competitive and negotiable salary based on experience, and certificates and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) are fully supported.
