Overview

Are you looking for the opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and caring practice which prides itself on high clinical standards? If so, join our client\'s 17-Vet small animal 3-branch hospital group in County Durham.

They are a truly international practice, with colleagues from all over Europe. You\'ll be leading a number of certificate holders, and team interests include cardiology, ultrasonography, orthopaedics and feline medicine to name a few. There\'s a large team of experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses to work alongside too and dedicated client care support.

The practice is fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, laparoscope and in-house lab and offers its own dedicated OOH service. It is also cat friendly accredited. Ideally situated in the heart of the county, you\'ll never be too far away from the moors or the beach, with close transport links to the rest of the North East and beyond.

Full time hours include a 4-day week and 1:6 weekend rota.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a number of certificate holders and work with a team with interests including cardiology, ultrasonography, orthopaedics and feline medicine.
  • Maintain high clinical standards and support the development of others within the team.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and clients, demonstrating excellent communication, professionalism, attention to detail and good time management.
  • Contribute to a well-equipped environment and support ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • You must be eligible to register with the RCVS as a Veterinary Surgeon to be considered for this position.
