Job description

We are looking for a friendly and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist who is dedicated to providing exceptional client care to join our fantastic team in Willenhall. This is a fixed-term role lasting 12 months.

As an integral part of our practice team you will be responsible for:

  • Taking phone calls, answering queries and booking appointments
  • Greeting clients and their pets on arrival
  • Check-in patients and verify their information
  • Update patient records and ensure attention to detail
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Dispensing medication
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception area and consult rooms
  • Administration duties such as emails and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan

We are looking for someone who is organised, able to multitask in a busy environment and someone who can demonstrate a good level of interpersonal skills. You must also be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft office and be able to work as part of the team and under your own initiative. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

About the rota

This is a full-time fixed-term role working 40 hours per week over 4 days. The shifts are from 8:00am-7:00pm plus 1 in 6 Saturdays and bank holidays from 9:00am - 5:00pm. to add, the Saturday shifts will be based at our Rosewood branch. Flexible working patterns available.
