Veterinary Receptionist and TB Administrator

40 hours per week - Clabeston Road

Oak Vet Group is seeking a motivated and professional Receptionist & TB Administrator to join our dedicated Farm Team based in Clabeston Road. This is a varied and rewarding position that combines client-facing reception duties with administrative responsibility for TB testing, as well as assisting our vets during on-farm TB work.

About the Role

This dual-role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a balance of office-based administration and practical, hands-on involvement in farm animal care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Reception & Administration

  • Providing a welcoming and efficient first point of contact for clients
  • Managing phone calls, enquiries, and appointment scheduling
  • Supporting day-to-day office tasks and maintaining accurate records
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service within a busy farm veterinary environment

TB Administration & On-Farm Support

  • Coordinating and scheduling TB tests with clients and vets
  • Completing and processing all required documentation accurately
  • Liaising with relevant agencies to ensure compliance
  • Assisting vets on-farm during TB testing (full training will be provided)
About You

We are looking for an individual who is:

  • Professional, organised and able to manage a varied workload
  • Confident in communicating with clients and colleagues
  • Comfortable working both in an office setting and outdoors on farms
  • Competent with computers and administrative systems
  • A reliable team player with a positive approach
  • Previous experience in agriculture or the veterinary sector is an advantage but not essential
  • A full driving licence is essential

This role covers 40 hours per week, you will work a variety of shifts across Monday-Friday.
