Role: Urology Theatre Scrub Practitioner

Location: The Harborne Hospital

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts : Monday-Friday, Occasional Saturdays, Short & Long days

Salary: Competitive- dependent upon experience + allowances

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedUrology Theatre Scrub Practitionerto join our outstanding Theatre Team. This is a unique opportunity to work in an advanced surgical environment whereexperience in robotic-assisted surgery is essential, with proven expertise in theda Vinci surgical system. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care across a wide range of urological procedures.

What you will do
  • Act as thescrub practitionerfor a variety of urological procedures, ensuring meticulous attention to aseptic techniques.
  • Work confidently inrobotic-assisted urological surgery, particularly with theda Vinci surgical system.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment, ensuring all instruments and equipment are optimally prepared.
  • Anticipate and support the surgical team’s needs throughout complex procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge ofurological surgical techniques, robotics, and innovations.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider team to deliver safe, high-quality care.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and patient-focused theatre culture.
What You Will Bring
  • CurrentNMC Pin or HCPC Registration.
  • Post-graduate experience as aScrub Practitionerin an operating theatre.
