Qualifications

  • Must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
  • Desirable: APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).
  • Desirable: Confined Spaces for Competent Persons.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical engineering support and guidance.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for underwater projects.
  • Develop method statements to identify hazards.
  • Coordinate dive tasking and ensure compliance.
  • Administer the Diving Safety Management System.

Skills

Understanding of underwater maintenance techniques
Working knowledge of marine engineering practices
Familiarity with submarine systems
Competence with safe systems of work
Awareness of commercial diving operations

Education

HNC in Engineering
Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
