Job Description

Learning, Coaching and Advice has vacancies for part‑time tutors (variable hours), to join the Family Learning team across Suffolk. Tutors will be based in the RF Learning Centre nearest to their residence or can be home‑based.

We are looking for a motivated, flexible creative Tutor in Family Learning with a specialism and skills in English, Mathematics and Language or Early Years and a passion for working with parents/carers in a range of partner settings.

Responsibilities include running short programmes in partner venues that encourage parental involvement in children’s learning and development. Outreach delivery is the norm and a willingness to travel to deliver in partner venues is essential, so access to own transport is required, as are excellent communication skills, a positive attitude to working in partnership and flexibility in the role.

Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 teaching qualification (Level 4 for English, Mathematics and Language) and a subject qualification in the relevant area are essential.
