Are you passionate about empowering young people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties or autism to take their first steps into work? If you are, then apply to join out team! Our Supported Internship team in Barnet is growing, and we’re looking for creative, dedicated Tutors to join us. We havefull-time (37.5 hrs)andpart-time (22.5 hrs / 3 days)roles available.
Our Supported Internships combine high-quality teaching with real-life work experience, helping young people build confidence, independence and lasting employability skills.
As a Tutor, you will:
TeachFunctional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
Deliver creative lessons inemployability and workplace skills.
Support learners both in the classroom and in their work placements.

Experience supportingSEND learnersin a teaching or training environment.
Experience delivering and assessing Functional Skills English & Maths.
Strong planning, organisation and classroom management abilities.
MinimumLevel 3 Award in Education(or equivalent), with willingness to progress to Level 5.
GCSEEnglishandMaths(A–C / 9–4 or equivalent).
A commitment to inclusive practice, person-centred support, equality and safeguarding.

The recruitment process if successful at application, will involve a two-stage interview process. A competency based interview will be the first stage and delivering a micro-teach will be the format for the second interview.
