A survivor-led charity is seeking a trustee who has lived experience of self-harm or has supported someone who self-harms. This role involves guiding the charity's efforts and ensuring sustainable growth while benefiting from board-level experience. Candidates with corporate sector experience, especially in marketing or HR, are encouraged to apply.
Battle Scars is a 100% survivor-led and run, fast growing self-harm specific charity working with people of all ages and genders with local, UK-wide and worldwide services.
You will help shape a rare survivor-led charity supporting those who self-harm — an often misunderstood and underfunded area of mental health.
We’re looking for one trustee with lived experience of self-harm who wants to help shape a charity that truly understands and supports people who struggle with it. Battle Scars is a small, survivor-led charity making a big impact across the UK. Our trustees guide our work and help ensure we grow in sustainable, creative, and effective ways. We are looking for one person with long working experience in the corporate sector, preferably at a managerial level, with marketing or HR skills including responsibility for staff wellbeing.
