Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust, Whipps Cross Hospital. ST3+ Equivalent in General Surgery. 1st April 2025 to 6th Oct 2026. Applications are invited for the post of ST3+ in one of our General Surgery firms. The post is for 6 months covering a trainee gap.

Responsibilities
  • The successful applicant will work in the capacity of a Registrar to one of the consultants within the General Surgery Unit.
  • Responsible for both inpatient elective and emergency work.
  • Run outpatient clinics and assist in elective theatre.
  • Provide on‑call support, which may include exposure in emergency Colorectal surgery.
  • Develop and increase skills within core General Surgery.
