Job description

Luo is a fast-growing fintech startup building real-time cross-border payment infrastructure for West Africa. Our platform helps businesses make international payments faster and more affordably. We recently raised $4 million in seed funding from top-tier investors, including the co-founder of Monzo and leading experts in cross-border payments.

As we scale our operations and increase transaction volumes, we are looking for a Treasury Manager to take ownership of cash flow planning, liquidity monitoring, and day-to-day treasury execution across our international partners and accounts.

Role Overview:

As Treasury Manager, you will play a key role in managing liquidity across multiple accounts and currencies, ensuring the right funds are in the right place at the right time. You’ll be responsible for executing treasury operations, optimizing our cash positioning, supporting trading and settlement flows, and coordinating with finance, operations, and our FX partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash positions across all bank accounts and partners.
• Plan and execute internal fund movements to support operations and payment flows.
• Track upcoming inflows/outflows and ensure liquidity coverage.
• Coordinate with the FX & Trading team on conversion needs and settlement planning.
• Reconcile treasury movements with back office and accounting teams.
• Maintain clear records of all treasury activity and support audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and automation.
• Liaise with banking partners on account setup, limits, and daily execution issues.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in treasury, finance operations, or liquidity management.
• Familiarity with multi-currency cash flow tracking and reconciliation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
• Prior experience in fintech or cross-border payments is a strong plus.
