Location: covering WTC's clinics in Liverpool and Chester
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Travel Health Nurse to join Well Travelled Clinics (WTC) - a wholly owned subsidiary of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM). This key clinical role will support the delivery of high-quality travel and occupational health services across WTC’s Liverpool and Chester clinics.
As a Travel Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualised, evidence-based travel health advice and care to business, leisure, and occupational travellers. You will carry out comprehensive risk assessments, deliver vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis in line with national guidance, and contribute to the maintenance of excellent clinical standards within the clinics. The role also offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a portfolio of clinical research studies, working in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance requirements.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring WTC continues to deliver safe, effective, and customer-focused services.
