A leading transport organization in Wales is seeking a Transport Planning Graduate for its graduate scheme. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects in public transport and sustainability. Candidates should have a relevant master's degree and demonstrate skills in data analysis, time management, and a passion for transport. The role offers competitive salary and hybrid working from Pontypridd or Wrexham.
Salary: £27,000 per annum, increasing to £28,000 in the 2nd year
Contractual hours: 37.5
Contract type: 22-month fixed term

This role offers hybrid working from Pontypridd/Wrexham office and from home, flexible working hours with occasional travel to site or other office locations as required.

The Transport Planning Graduate will contribute to the development and delivery of TfW’s multimodal integration agenda and will assist in projects and tasks that support the Welsh Government, local authorities and other partners in making public transport a key element of an integrated transport system.

Please note, to be eligible for this Graduate scheme, you must be within 2 years post-graduation upon application or have completed all course teaching for your master’s degree, by the time the scheme starts in September. If you are successfully appointed to the role, your offer will be conditional on you passing the master’s degree.
Please note, you must hold the relevant right to work in the UK upon successful appointment of the role. We’re not currently able to provide sponsorship.
We welcome people who can speak or write in Welsh, but it’s not essential for this role.
