Join Our Team as a Transport Operator!

Location: Preston

Shifts: 4/4 shift pattern, 12 hours per day

Average Weekly Hours: 40.36

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Flexibility: Ability to work additional shifts/hours during holiday and increased operational periods+.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Accurately record all transport jobs in our systems, ensuring documentation like PODs and Consignment Notes are up to date.
• Book in deliveries and collections, keeping everything on track and in line with our processes.
• Brief and debrief drivers daily, ensuring they’re informed and ready to go.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and site security.
• Support the collection of key management information and KPIs.
• Communicate effectively with customers and drivers, logging all actions clearly.
• Provide regular updates and situation reports to the transport team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
