A leading poultry company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Transport Front Desk Clerk. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operational issues, ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, and track vehicle movements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with experience in driver management. This position offers a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, ensuring coverage for a 24/7 front desk operation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Front Desk Clerk to join the team, who if not already, will become an eggspert of poultry in Pilgrims Europe!
The Front Desk Clerk will track adherence to daily Live Load, deliver a full pre brief and de brief for all drivers and distribute any paperwork to relevant departments.
This role will be responsible, in a timely manner, for tracking, escalating and reporting own and third-party haulier adherence to agreed transport plan so that the team meet the required service and cost performance targets.
The individual will pre-brief all shift drivers to ensure accurate information is communicated, the drivers are well and fit for work, required breaks have been taken, communicate any briefings/updates ensure drivers are added to required systems and are informed of special of their trip.
Agreed shift patterns will be in support of the required operational demands of the business meeting a 24/7 front desk coverage.
