A local public authority is looking for a Transport Department Receptionist to provide administrative support and reception services. The role is part-time at 21 hours weekly, based in Winchester Workshops, and requires a full UK driving licence for manual vehicles. Please therefore ensure you have completed the ‘Police Staff Internal Secondment Declaration’, and forwarded it as instructed to obtain their sign‑off. This step must be completed so the form is submitted as part of the application process, prior to the vacancy’s closing date. Your declaration form should be uploaded alongside your application form. Please note that completion of this declaration is required whether or not your application is supported. Lack of managerial support will not prohibit you from applying, but it may have implications on your employee status. As a result you should consider this fully. You will assist with the provision of an efficient and effective Reception service for staff, visitors and contractors and you will be able to provide a range of business/ administrative services in support of the Supervisor.

You will be based at one of our Winchester Workshop, however you must be prepared to travel to different sites across Hampshire Constabulary.
You may also be asked to move police vehicles around the workshops and car parks as required, therefore a full UK licence to drive manual vehicles is required.
