Role Overview

As a Trainee Senior Care Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training and support from our experienced team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop your skills and progress to a senior role
  • Assist with daily activities of living and personal care
  • Create a warm, supportive environment for residents
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate personalised care
  • Administer medication in line with prescribed requirements
  • Lead, supervise and support the care team
  • Communicate effectively with external professionals, residents and relatives
  • Implement personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
  • Provide specialised care and support for residents living with dementia

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in social care
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (mandatory)
  • Compassionate, reliable and patient
  • Willingness to learn and progress within the role including undertaking a Level 3 qualification
