Trading System Engineer – Rates & Credit Fixed Income

Position Overview

You will play a key role in the transformation of Rates and Credit Fixed Income technology landscape. As part of our multi‑year platform modernization project, you will be responsible for building a suite of new, real‑time, high‑performance applications supporting various trading workflows. You will be involved in building solutions across the stack and working closely with business stakeholders to create a maintainable, operationally efficient and scalable platform that will last the next decade.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a suite of modern, real‑time, high‑performance micro‑services to support core Rates and Credit trading workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineers across the stack to design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows and rapidly deliver impactful features that improve business efficiency.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Good understanding of programming fundamentals, including object‑oriented programming, collections, exception handling and concurrency programming. Experience with reactive programming models is a plus.
  • Experience with microservice concepts and frameworks, including event‑driven architectures, with a desire to build deeper expertise.
  • Experience in designing, building and deploying RESTful and event‑driven APIs, with foundational knowledge of SQL and relational database design, plus exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Awareness of UI constraints and experience with React and TypeScript is a plus.
