Overview

Trade Counter Assistant at a nationwide mechanical component distributor. Location: Manchester. Salary: Up to £27,000 Per Annum plus Callout Bonus. Role Type: Permanent / Full Time / Mon-Fri / 8-5 / Occasional call out (1 in 4 weeks).

This role involves providing day-to-day support across the trade counter and branch, handling customer requests to ensure satisfaction, and contributing to efficient warehouse operations for order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Deal with incoming queries from customers over the phone and via email. Take orders and fill in picking slips for warehouse picking, packing, and shipping to customers.
• Service customers at the branch trade counter; retrieve small batch or individual items from the warehouse, keep displays stocked, and maintain a presentable counter area.
• Occasional driving/delivering specific parts to customers; valid UK driving license required.
• Ensure accurate order processing and alignment with customer needs and delivery timelines.
