Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare assistant or caring role, ideally within an operating theatre setting.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and use initiative.
  • Good standard of literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses and operating department practitioners in delivering care.
  • Support patients with empathy and dignity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe theatre environment.
  • Prepare and clean equipment, assisting with patient transfers.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding stock.
