Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with expected first‑year total earnings between $55,000 and $65,000 per year. This salary range is an average estimate for this position; the final offer will reflect each candidate’s education, skills, and experience.

Overview

Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory, market segment, and supplier brand by effectively selling the company’s products/services and providing excellent customer service to fulfill the potential of our suppliers and customers.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Make regular sales calls to on‑premise customers to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction with the service provided.
  • Analyze, plan, establish, and maintain an efficient and productive daily call pattern in the assigned territory.
  • Achieve assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives.
  • Analyze the total territory and each account to determine priority selling and promotional opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of sales, competitive activity, and payment performances of all accounts.
  • Recognize major trends, describe them, and discuss the organization’s positions and plans regarding key product trends.
  • Ensure order information is captured accurately, work with the sales system, and conduct day‑to‑day sales order entry.
  • Participate in sales projects, account evaluations, proposals, presentations, and other sales‑related activities.
  • Attend sales meetings, on‑site training, and winery/distillery tours to remain educated in company policy and industry trends/developments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a valid, current driver’s license.
  • Working knowledge of and proficiency with computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems.
