• Extensive experience of commercial insurance, with significant exposure to complex, high value risk.
• Experience of internal audit and understanding of best practice audit principles.
• Proven ability to coach/train for enhanced performance of others.

Responsibilities

• Manage the motivation, development, productivity, and performance of the team.
• Responsible for the delivery of the underwriting strategy including the provision of underwriting guides.
• Deputise for the Head of Underwriting.
• Manage and continuously improve the annual underwriting audit programme.
