Overview

We are experiencing significant growth and are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and is committed to quality and precision, has a good technical understanding, and helping colleagues achieve common goals. We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales to join our team and support the sales, operation and customer focus of Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Tooling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Send sales and rental quotes to clients, and make sure contracts are updated with necessary information.
  • Make sure that all necessary documentation is sent to client before project start.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of use, service and maintenance of all the company’s rental equipment.
  • Be proactive in the company’s business development towards new and existing customers.
  • Be sales driven and seek new opportunities within sales.
  • Arrange several client meetings annually with reports to Commercial Manager.
  • Actively participate in the company’s HSE work and implement this in the daily work.
  • Organize with suppliers on cross hires and purchases to ensure contracts are met.
  • Be present at various arrangements, such as client meetings and exhibitions according to the sales team annual schedule.
Qualifications and experiences
  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or marine engineering.
  • Right to work in UK
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ROV tooling or related field, preferably with rental equipment.
  • Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical schematics.
