A leading composites firm in the UK is looking for a sales specialist to drive sustainable financial growth through supporting existing customers and developing new opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of advanced composite technology, field sales experience, and excellent relationship-building skills. You will work closely with Sales Administration, undertake technical advice tasks, and maintain customer accounts, all while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Work Times: 9:00am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday). A degree of flexibility will be needed at peak periods.
The purpose of this role is to support and drive sustainable financial growth for SHD in its core UK market, through pro‑active support of existing customers, developing new opportunities, and working in conjunction with SHD Sales Administration processing customer purchase orders as appropriate.
In this role, you will be selling the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on.
You will need a good understanding of advanced composites technology, experience in field sales or a technical role, good relationships building skills and an ability to work effectively alongside Sales Administration and with other functions such as, Manufacturing and Technical. Self‑disciplined, proactively working to support and communicate well with both internal and external customers, some travel will be expected.
